Origin
Dorlux was started in Earl Hill ROAD, HANDEL, Halifax County North Yorkshire, United kingdom and was founded by founder Arthur Sykes about the year of our Lord 1919.
Arthur Sykes hand generated the components and his efforts and passion ultimately paid off when he was able to deliver his first ever order of a mattress marking what is believed to be the emergence of the Dorlux brand. Dorlux has since proceeded on the path of offering healthy and sleep secure products to all customers throughout the world.
Growth
In the few years after the brand was founded Dorlux posted significant growths.
Arthur Sykes’ factories bought 10 tons of local good quality horse hairs only in 1924, and broke the records of working out horsehair spring mattresses which had never existed. This improvement not only enhanced the convenience but earned the product to the residence of the Duke of Gloucester and as a result strengthened Dorlux’s foothold in the upper-end made to order sleep segment.
Development
After a one hundred years of work Dorlux brand has become a well recognized name in the global sleep makers market. Its products are greatly appreciated by British aristocracy and members of the royal family, and also received wide recognition from the audience all over the world.
At the same time Dorlux has also scooped many industry awards that have further fortified its commanding position in the sector.
